And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in the hope that Saint Nicholas soon would be there. When my children were young, they looked forward to their stockings on xmas morning filled with goodies. I miss that aspect of xmas morning now that they are grown up, but I still hang some stockings up in memory. Here's a couple of stockings I designed sized 3 inches x 3 inches at 300 dpi. You can easily add a hanging tag to them to personalise them for your own personal use if you wished to. Thanks for reading the TOU and abiding by them.
I have a few more xmas gifts I will share with you when I get finished working on them. December, there is just so much to do to prepare for xmas. The decorating, the lighting, the shopping and wrapping and the cooking. Our neighbour across the street was out yesterday putting up all his xmas lites and the wreath. Signs of the approaching season are appearing everywhere.

Xmas Lites
It is such fun to lite up at xmas. We make a lite tour every year to view the beautiful displays. When we do this year I will share some pics of the wonderful houses. Most of us get our lites up now before the snow and cold arrives, however, we officially lite them up starting middle of November. The nites are dark now by 4 p.m. Here's a lite string in the traditional colors. I have included each bulb separately on a wire, plus a full string including plug which fits across a 12 inch page at 300 dpi. May they make your xmas merry and brite!
Snowy Pine Cone
A snowy pine cone for winter. This was a fun one to do although snow is difficult to paint. Sized 3 inches by 3 inches at 300 dpi.
Do you go collect pine cones to craft with? I have a whole BIG bag full of gigantic pine cones that I collected from the forest when we travelled in the mountains through B.C. I have to make something with them yet, maybe this year I'll get around to that.
I collected smaller pine cones from the big pine trees around the neighbourhood and made a wreath using them. Just glued a burlap cover over a styrofoam base, then hot glued the cones in place.Hope you find time to take a stroll and gather the bounty Mother Nature provides for us.

Please Follow TOU
As you can see in the image, the pumpkins that I offered on my blog stating my terms are free for your personal use just do not claim as your work have been misued by this person. Just because you cut holes in my work does NOT make them your work!! I am feeling sorry for someone who has to use these tatics in order to offer freebies on her blog. I made these items for the visitors to MY blog to download for free and use for their own personal use. You cutting holes in them and calling them yours constitutes theft of others work and I truly feel very very sorry for you that you have to resort to this instead of learning the joy and creativity in making your own work to offer on your blog.
I also notice that she has also cut holes in someone else's work that I am acquainted with. When I taught a graphics learning course teaching people to use paint shop pro, Judy was one of my students that I thought was talented. She continues to do great work but here again is another example of this person taking Judy's work, cutting holes in them and calling it her work, offering it on her blog for download. The freebies that are offered have taken time and work to create and are offered with the terms that you do NOT try and claim as your own. Please be sure to read the Terms of Use and abide by a very simple request. In future I guess in order to curb this, I shall have to add a HIGHLY VISIBLE WATERMARK on MY WORK!! I am sorry to have to take this step. I was hoping not to have to make it show on the items for you to use, but I can see I have no choice now but to do this. In future all my work will have a watermark clearly visible to avoid people doing this.

Crystal Snowflakes
It snowed a few days ago, got about inch and a half. It all melted away soon after but it put me in the xmas frame of mind now. Here's 4 crystal snowflakes to share with those who have no snow. They are sized 3 inches x 3 inches x300 dpi so will print out if you want to use them on a xmas card. I tried to make these like see through ice, it is hard to show that on the preview. I remember as a kid standing in the yard trying to catch the snowflakes on my tongue. Snowflakes falling can be pretty, softly coming down from the sky, but after awhile when one has 26 inches of the white stuff piled on their front lawn, it is sometimes hard to remember how nice they were.
Sorry I'm not posting regular, but I felt I needed a blog rest to recharge with. I am working on a few xmas items to share soon and we are doing some renovations in the house so things are busy.

Black Cemetery Lane
I was driving down the road when I just had to do a spin around and take a pic of this house. This house is always the MOST decorated in the city, let alone in our neighbourhood. But this year, he managed to outdo every previous year I think. The hearse in the front yard was the new addition this year, OH MY!!As you can see, we have winter conditions now. It was blowing snow and coming down heavily while I was out in the street trying to take the pic. Now, here I am, in the middle of the road, in that terrible weather trying to snap the pic and around the corner comes this lady in her little red suv, stops right in front, so no one else can have a view except for her, sat in her nice comfy car and proceeded to just sit there looking over the decorations. So I waited for a couple of minutes, then I thought darned if I'm going to stand out here like this so I walked up to her window so she could SEE me standing out there trying to take a pic and gave her the wave of the hand to MOVE IT LADY!! LOL. Gosh some people!!!
Now, get this, while I'm trying to take this pic, there was a parade of vehicles going down the main road, everyone twisting around to take a look as they went by, BUT, the minute I finished taking my pic, guess what--not a vehicle in sight!! Isn't that just how it goes. LOL
Just thought I'd share this halloween pic with you all to enjoy.
